JEWELLERY ROBBERY.
ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, Wni. Jack, Alfred Pryor and Wni. Newton were charged with committing a jewellery robbery at Lloyds' jewellery establishment on September 23. A good deal of evidence was taken, and Prior pleaded guilty. Jack and Newton pleaded not guilty. Prior was ordered to come up for sentence at the Supreme Court at Grevmouth on November 12, and: Jack and Newton were committed for trial at the same court.
