There was a good attendance, and dancing was kept up until 2 o'clock next morning. The school reopened on Monday, aftei a week's holiday. A rather severe form of influenza is prevalent in the district, many home* 'having been visited. A meeting of the School Committee was set down for last Monday night, but had to be put off on account of the I bad weather. The chairman, who had the furthest to travel, was the only one "to turn up.
