Sir Wilfrid Laurier, speaking on Irish Home Rule at a meeting in Ottawa, addressed by Mr. T. P. O'Connor, M.P.. said the treatment of Ireland was the only, blot on England's record. He could not understand the granting of autonomy to Canada and South Africa, and not to Ireland.
