An em ntrie Frenchman named Andria was founrl crouching outside the office of Premier Mcßride, at Victoria. He was arrested. He had haunted the building for days seeking the Premier. He was ordered to be examined to ascertain if he were sane. BAD WEATHER IN THE SOUTH. Invercargill, Last Night The predicted storm has arrived. From nearly all parts of the district come reports of falls of hail, snow anil rain, and considerable mortality amongst lambs is expected. To-night the weather is cold, and there are frequeni showers of rain and hail. THE DARLING MURDER. Received October 7. 12.50 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. Sankovitch has been committed for trial to Bourke for murdering Edmond.
