Breeders of heavy horses m the Urenui and. surrounding districts are notified that the purebred Clydedale stallion Lord Roberts is to stand the season at the owner's (Mr. B. Sheard's) farm. Lord Roberts has been at the stud for several seasons, and his stoclc have turned out remarkable well. His breeding is particularly good, and he claims for his sire that noted horse Herd Laddie. Lord Roberts is a beautiful dark bay in color, is well formed throughout, and lias plenty of substance. The well-grown and active 'sire Governor General is advertised to stand the season in the Mangorei district. This horse is eminently suited for getting useful farm and milk cart animals, and his services being available at a moderate fee breeders should not fail to inspect Governor General before placing their stud orders.
