The Social Democrats organised the demonstration. The utmost order prevailed, and there were no accidents. The Hungarian Government has given a grudging assent to the admission of a restricted quantity of Argentine meat, but it is unlikely the concession will affect prices. IMPRESSED WITH AUSTRALASIAN MEAT. London, October 3. The members of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce inspected Smithfield markets. Colonial importers impressed them with New Zealand and Australian meat, which were respectively superior and equal to Argentine meat.
