Melbourne, October 3. Richard Tracev, an ex-Government official, was found dead on a city footpath with his neck broken and his spine and skull fractured, The cause is a mystery. A wireless message from the Makura, which is 994 miles north of Sydney, states that a stowaway crawled from the engine-room ventilator, where he had been two and a half days in the roasting temperature. He had a bottle of water and three sandwiches.
