The highest price yet obtained for land situate:! at a similar distance from Hawera boronsrh area was'in connection with the sale of a 20-ncro section, with house, etc., a few days ago on the Normanlby road, about three miles from Hawera, the purchase money being £l-640, which works out at the rate of £B2 an acre. Not many weeks ago the same place was sold at £75 an acre, Whilst about ten years ago it changed hands at £35.-Star.
