(Fiom Our o\vu Correspondent.) _ Stratford, Last Night Ine complaints of settlers at the flag stations along <the Ongarue-Stratford lme that there was uncertainty as to when small cases of goods-too W to go into a van and too small to warrant' a truck being put on-came before the Chamber of Commerce at last meeting Iw * u 22 estioa was then made that the goods be forwarded on certain regular days; and the department have mow notified the public that consignments of less than two tons will be forwarded as follows:— Toko and Douglas, Tuesdays and Fridays; Kiore, Hiuroa, Skinner Road and Gordon Road, Wednesdays, Consignments which warrant the iputtinig on of a truc-k will be forwarded at once. The condition of Mr. C. E. Jackson, who -was recently admitted to the Stratford Hospital is causing his friends considerable anxiety. The work of clearing and getting the newty acquired show grounds into order is proceeding rapidly, and it is hoped that by the tune the show arrives everything will be in good order. Local amglers are preparing for the opening of the fishing season.
