The Director of the Municipal Sanitary Department, writes that since the cholera epidemic at Naples has Officially declared, secrecy is useless. He declares tlhat four cases were imported to Rome from Naples, one proving fatal. He promises a daily bulletin, and is determined not to imitate; Naples in concealing the truth. The sanitary authorities at Naples deny that the recent alleged gastric fever epidemic is really cholera, and report 42 fresh gas.tric cases, 38: were fatal. There are three ffesfh cases of trUe cholera besides.
