A tomahawk, with wrtiicii it is believed th® Darling River murder was committed, and a quantity of the belongings of deceased have been found in the Darling River near the scene of the tragedy. The murderer has been traced to Sydney. THE SUSPECT CAPTURED. INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE. Received, 27, 9.25 p.m. Melbourne, September 27. The wanted' Russian, was arrested toin a foreign' boaidinghouse. He gave his name as "Boris Vitchman," but adafutted that he travelled to Australia as "SenkovitcV as he did not want to be returned to Russia, tihough he could not say why tie entertained such a fear. He ihiad in bis possession the sum. of £604. The numbers of two of the big notes corresponded to those issued ; to the auiuderedi man. &enkovitcit also bad copies -of Sherlock Holmes and other detective stories, together with a Russian-English dictionary to aid hrm jn translation. He stated .that he left Eumond at Bourke on September 18, the latter saying he w going further inland: The body of a Russian named Eumond •was foundl in the river Darling, the indications being that ihe was murdered. Eumond passed through Bourke a fortnight ibefore with Senkovitch, who is about twenty years old, and who was supposed! to be a servant of the murdered man. It was stated that while in Sydney Senkovitch. spent money lavishly, Irat seemed desirous of getting away from the city, and did not show (himself much in the public streets.
