Before closing the Kollat Pass to traffic, the Commissioner of the North-West Frontier province met the Jirgah tribesmen, who, instead 1 of showing contrition over the Adam Khels raids, demanded compensation, for losses and stoppage of arms traffic.

The Ameer received a deputation of disappointed' Afridi dealers in arms, and consoled! them with gifts of money and payment for the journey home.
