RIFLE SHOOTING
OKATQ On Saturday two teams of six men each journeyed to Oakura to try conclusions 'witJh the Oakura Club. The A ' team won by 54 points,, while the B team suffered defeat by 36> points. The day was fine, but a tricky wind and rapidly changing light baffled most of the marksmen, and as a result' most of the scores were low. The ranges were 500 and 600 yards. Rifleman Jenkins easily headed the list for both teams by putting on the creditable score of 64. The following are the scores: —■ OKATO A. i 500 600 Tl. Rfm. Jenkins 32 32 64 Rfm.
