Breedersfof godd hard-wearing hackney and light harness Jhorses will see by advertisement that the handsome stallion Lord Kitchener is Lo uo placed at ■the stud in New Plymouth and surrounding districts for this season. Last year Lord Kitchener was in the Napier district, and as an indication of his popularity it may be mentioned that he had a full book. This animal is,' as usual, in very hearty fettle for the season's work. Lord Kitchener is the stamp to mate •with almost any class of brood mare.
Another horse that is sure to be largely patronised is the blood stallion Bombardo. Apart from his illustrious ■breeding, Bombardo is one of that good type of thoroughbred with plenty of substance and grand conformation. He is a newcomer to the district, and his owner, Mr. T. Carson, intends travelling through the Stratford, Inglewood, New Plymouth and surrounding district. Dates will be notified later.

A glance at The Duke's pedigree will show that hs comes from the right stock, claiming for sire the celebrated Glengyle. The Duke of Wellington's stocic have, all proved honest workers, and he Mmself is a very staunch toiler. Dates and places of travel will be advertised later.
