MARCONI THE WIZARD

Marconi, while aboard an ItalianLloyd steamer, flew a kite and communicated! with Canada wirelessly, a distance of 3900 miles in broad daylight. The steamer was 98 days out from Otranto at sea. In previous' wireless communication to shore or with other stops., 81 days is the longest period, and the distance 1845 miles.
