An uutber of officers have subscribed £'20,000 to initiate it. It is hoped the profits will amount to £200,000, which will be used to erect a veterans' home. J\xe spectacle will include a representation of the Balaclava charge and aviation displays. Local territorials and boy reservists will be paid £2 weekly. Colonel A. G. Burn, *bf the Indian Army, will be in command.
