NEW PLYMOUTH. Mails will close (subject to alteration) at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as follqys:— , For Wellington and South, also for Auckland and North, daily, per Mail Train, at 6.15 a.m. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24. For Australian States and South Africa, at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington, per Rosamond, at 10 ajn. Tuesday, September 27, at 6.15 a.m. DEPARTMENT HOLIDAY. DOMINION DAY, SEPTEMBER 26. Monday, September 26, Dominion Day, iwill Ibe observed as a close holiday by the Post Office in all its branches. A delivery of town correspondence will be made over the Post Office counter on Saturday, 24th, from 8 p.m. till 9 p.m. No mails will be closed later than 7.15 a.m. The Telegraph Office will open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. till midnight. The Telephone Exchange will open as usual. The railway travelling post office will run as usual.
