The sunshade will be an item of dress this season, and it isi showing at White's in a very large variety of inexpensive styles. Chief I among the lower-priced ones is a line ini plain colors, striped and floral designs, in a highly mercerised covering at 3s lid each. The quantities, varieties and values in men's, boys', and children's straw hats ait the Melbourne celebration sale is beyond any attempt to compete with it> We don't tell trade secrets, but we don't mind customers knowing that for various good and sufficient reasons we obtained unusually low prices on straws bought for this sale. A new hat! To a man such a thought causes little more than a passing regret at the expense. But to a woman it conjures up visions of stylish millinery, and all that pertains to'new fashions. So that it will be our lady readers who will read with interest Messrs. Morey and Son's announcement in this issue,! which refers to that firm's spring show* of millinery, etc.
