OAKURA DAIRY COMPANY. The annual report of the Oakura Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., for the twelve ■months ended 31st August, 1910, to be laid before the annual meeting of shareholders to be held next month is as follows: Your directors are pleased to, present you with the balance-sheet for the twelfth year of the company's operations. The average test was 3.92, and the quantity of milk Tequired to make lib of butter was 22.911b'. The sum of £8,936 18s lid has been, distributed amongst shareholders, being at an average price of 10.06 d per lb of butter-fat; £179 lis 2d has been written off for depreciation, and a balance of £9 5d has been brought • forward. The prospects for next season are very satisfactory, and your directors have' again sold the output (September-April), the price received, being per lb, which is an increase of 9-16 th of a penny in comparison with the past year. During the past year Mr. W. R. Cave, who has been manager of the company since its formation, resigned his position. Your directors appointed Mr. J. Reid, late manager of our Timaru creamery, as manager of the company in his stead. The retiring directors are Mr. W. Honeyfield and Capt. Mace—the latter of whom does not intend to offer himself 1 for re-election. J
