AUSTRALIAN BUTTER
A MINISTER ON GRADING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received September 20, 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, September 19. Replying to a deputation which asked that grading of butter be made compulsory and the standard of moisture hot lowered, 'Mr. Tudor (Minister for Trade and Customs) said the standard would not be reduced to 14, but would probably be 15 per centum. It was remarkable that New Zealand graded butter should bring 4s more than Australian if the evils of grading were such as had been represented.
