A cablegram from Melbourne states that the steamer Star of Australia, from New York, arrived there on Wednesday, three days behind time. She had an exceptionally rough trip, and an anxious time was spent on August 22. RARAWA'S CARGO, from Onehunga yesterday morning the, Rarawa brought 80 tons of cargo, ineluding 28 tons of cement, 3 tons of flour, 3 tons of sugar, and 100 cases of fruit. ; CORINNA'S MOVEMENTS. The Corinna has been delayed in Wellington, and 1 is now due here to-morrow instead of to-day. As over 4000 boxes of butter will be ready for- shipment from this pbrt on Saturday, for tran T shipment to the Turakina, and as the Turakina will'load her Auckland at Auckland, it is probable that the Corinna will not leave for Onehunga on Saturday, but "will return to Wellington that evening^ THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, Picton and Nelson, with 310 tons of. cargo, including 1029 bags of potatoes, 120 bags of onions, 80 bags of rice, 80 bags of salt, 200 sacks of superphosphates, 95 cases of whisky,) 292 cases of kerosene, 72 cases of fruit, and 920 feet .of timber. The oversea transhipments were ex Warrimoo from Hobart and Melbourne, ex Moeraki and Victoria from Sydney, and ex Paparoa and Athenic from London. The Rosamond left yesterday afnoon for Onehunga.
