NEW PLYMOUTH SESSIONS. The New Plymouth Supreme Court, sessions, before Mr. Justice Edwards, were brought to a conclusion yesterday. 1 the okau land case*"*"" I Aigumeut was heard in the case of Greenwood (Mr. Spence) v. Smith and lMlshaw (Mr. Quilliam), a claim lor damages, on account of alleged misrepreseiuation by the defendants as to the nature of a farm sold by them to plaintiff. His Worship reserved his decision. A BUILDING DISPUTE. j His Honor reserved his decision in the case oi Coiemiui aim Son v. Patterson and 11. S. Fitzherbert, S.M., an application xor a writ of prohibition in respect to a judgment given by Mr. Fitzherbert in a recent isfew 'Plymouth case concerning a contract entered into by Coleman' and Son for additions to Patterson's I house. Mr. C. 11. Weston appeared for the plaintiff and Mr, Johnstone for defendants.

SEPARATION CASE. j The Court was cleared during • the hearing of the case in which Mary Bay-j ly, of New Plymouth, applied for a' judicial separation from her husband, Walter Bayly. The petitioner was represented by Mr, J. H. Quilliam, but there was no appearance of the respondent. Mr. Quilliam applied for alimony. His Honor said the decree of separation would be made, but what alimony would be' allowed, or what conditions, he would decide later. Costs would be given against the respondent. IN BANKRUPTCY.

Re Charles S. Smith, of Eltham, tail-, or, creditors' petition for adjudication of bankruptcy. Mr. J. B. Roy for petitioning creditors. The order was made. The application W. R. Mackay, of Stratford, for his discharge was granted.

Re Albert Edward Madgwick, application for discharge.—No appearance in the matter, which was struck out.

IN CHAMBERS. j Re Geo. Dyson, deceased. Probate of will was granted on the application of Mr. D. Syme. Re Rachel Cassels Rowe (Mr. Wilkes). Administration granted. Re John Joseph Reid Dodson Tregear, deceased (Mr. Fookes). Letters of administration granted, and sureties dis- : pensed with. , I Re Susan Rossiter, deceased (Mr. C. H. Weston). Administration granted, and sureties dispensed with. Re James Munro, deceased (Mr. Standish). Order made granting leave to exercise power of sale.
