Indications point to the baths being even better patronised this season than last. A ihookey team journeys to Eltham on Thuraday to try conclusions with the Western Division. Football is dead, and athletes are once more turning their attention to the cricket 'bat and tennia racquet. Tie poll on the County Council's proposal for a loan for erecting bridges in Druids' Hall on Wednesday. On Thursday evening another school social will toe held in aid of the musical | instrument fund. I Butter buyers may still be seen in the district, but the majority of the factories have already disposed of their outputs. With such a warm winter and early spring, some of the 20th cheques ; should be of gratifying dimensions this I month. | Dr. Gault has presented a medal to the Inglewood Golf Club for competition. The match will be a handicap stroke one. Mr. Haworth has also presented a club for competition among the lady . members. I In the championship matches Gault : teat Stanley, 2 up, Glassford beat Gudgeon 2 up, F. Brown beat Johnston. There are still several matches to be played.
