"THE BRASS BOTTLE." Of all the sensational farcical plays ever produced in New Plymouth none has been so extravagant, few more successful than "The Brass Bottle" produced last night in the Theatre Koyal by Mr. J. C. Williamson's new English company, specially selected for this production. -'The Brass Bottle" is farcicai in the extreme, and a far-fetched farce, based on the alleged "magic" of the East. The playwright's ideas have been very fully described in the advance notices in these columns, and the whole theme was splendidly carried out by a company of talented performers. There is nothing that the public of New Plymouth enjoys more than the comedy •such as was seen and heard last night, the .spectacular lightning change eilects and the wealth of scenic detail so carefully and cleverly managed—and introduced. "The Brass Bottle" made an excellent impression, and we regret that circumstances prevent our giving the performance the longer and more detailed report and appreciation that it undoubtedly deserves.
