ACCIDENTS AND FATALITING.
BUSH FATALITY. By Telegraph.—Preai Association. Auckland, Monday. D. Dansey, employed at Broadbelt and Co.'s mill at Ohakune, was killed instantly this morning by a tree falling on him. SUICIDE IN CHRISTCHURCH. Christchurch, Monday. William Henry Taylor, aged 5!) a saddler at Yaldhurst, strangled himself yesterday with a strap. He had been ill from influenza. SUDDEN DEATH. Christchurch, Monday. Alexander Duncan, for many years manager of the seed department of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association, died suddenly at Lyttclton on Saturday night. He had been appointed North Island representative for the association, and was on his way to Palmerston North, where Ik> intended to make his headquarters. He was taken ill on the wharf when going from the train to the steamer, and died in the casualty waxd. He was 53 years 01 age. An inquest showed that death was due to hemorrhage of the brain. FATALLY INJURED. Christchurch. Last Night. John McClelland, of Scargill, was seriously injured on 'Saturday night through •his horse slipping on the hillside and rolling over him. His died this morning.
