AIRMAN'S NARROW ESCAPE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Paris, September 11. Parisot, aeroplaning over Paris with a passenger, fell into a street and snapped some lamp posts. He was cut, but otherwise no harm was done. THE IRISH CHANNEL NEGOTIATED. London, September 11. Lorraine, in a biplane, crossed from Holyhead to Ireland. A NARROW ESCAPE. Received September 12, 10.20 p.m. London, September 12. Lorraine experienced fine weather, but at, a height of 3000 feet the engine stopped for half a minute. This was repeated later, and the aeroplane, having lost the power, gradually descended into the sea, Sixty yards from Howth lighthouse, where Lorraine swam ashore. The aeroplane, which was partly submerged, was recovered.
