TOBACCO SMOKING A PREVENTIVE. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, -September 9. Apropos of several cases of meningitis, or spotted fever, in London, the British Medical Journal mentions that tobacco smoking is a preventive, and has been proved an efficient antidote in similar cases in France.
