pUBLIC XOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Taranaki County Council, held at 2 p.m. on Monday, the sth day of September, 1910, the undermentioned resolution was duly passed, and which will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at 2 p.m. on MONDAY, the-3rd day of October, 1910, and intended to operate as a Special Order. "In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the 'Local Bodies' Loans Act, KOS/ the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows: — "That for the purposes of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £IOO, being ten per cent, on the original loan of £'looo authorised to be raised by the Elliot Road Board (the Road District now being merged into the Taranaki County) under the 'Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908,' for the purpose of completing! the forming, kerbing and metalling of the footpath on the Northern side of V.IHot Road to the western boundary of Soleville. and completing the grading, formation, and metalling of the Elliot Road through to its ,' junction with the Frankley Road tit tT-<& FrankTey Road School, the said Taranaki County hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of l'/40th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Elliot Road "District, comprising the whole of the area of the late Elliot Road District; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on thp 15th day of May in each, ami every year during the currency of such' loan, being a period of thirty-six years an 3 re half, or,' until the loan is hilly paid off.
