f SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegrnnn—Press Association. F > Wellington, Last Night. Following is Rev. D. C. Bates' sumjnary and forecast: —The barometer has I been, unsteady, but little change is recorded. Rain has fallen on the West Coast of the South Island, but elsewhere mild and hazy weather has prevailed with varying winds. Present indications are for a slowly falling barometer everywhere, increasing haze and cloudiness probable in most parts and winds changing from moderate to strong northerlies generally after about sixteen hours.
