, LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night,. For the seventh round of the Ladies : Hockey Tournament 'fine weather prevailed. Otago beat Westport. Otago played Ibelow form, and were pressed by Westport at the finish, a draw bein" narrowly averted. ° Oeymouth scored their first win in the tournament by defeating Wellington B by 2 goals to 1; The Auckland-Wanganui match was evenly contested, Auckland wiimine bv 2 goals to nil. Wellington A were easily defeated by Nelson by 4 goals to nil. Hawke's Bay gained an easy victory over Taranaki by 5 goals to nil. The latter showed splendid defence in the first the goalkeeper (Miss Arthur) saving magnificently on'' several occasions.' To-morrow's matches are:—Westport v. Wanganui, Wellington A v. Auckland, Hawke's Bay v. Wellington B, Taranaki v. Nelson, Otago v. Wairaxapa.
