(From Our Own Correspondents.) The attendance at the Tennis dance was marred by the adverse weather conditions. Nevertheless, a most tnjoyable evening eventuated. The floor was in fine order, and as it was not overcrowded dancing was most enjoyable. The Cottier family supplied the music. Mr. Moody, secretary of the dance committee, acted as M.C. The supper was provided by the ladies; and the whole affair went off without a hitch. The financial result was most satisfactory. Mr. C. L. Nicholls, of the staff of the local Post Office, is at present spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. M. W.
