The correspondent of the Times states that Princess Chun, the Emperor's mother, is heading the faction of the Viceroy Lungyu contrary to the faction which seeksi to remove Princess. Chun from the Regency, pleading the power conferred on Lungyu by Tzuhsi's deathbed edict. Lungyu is preparing a raid upon the ten millions sterling left' bv the late Empress, and aims at conciliating the public by identifying his faction with the progressive programme.
