MR. JOHN BURNS AND HIS SALARY. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. London, September 4. The Battersea Liberal and Radical Association has decided to cease the registration of electors, alleging, that Mr. John Burns, ought to pay the cost, which amounts to £3OO, now that his salary has been raised to £SOOO. The leaders add that Mr. Burns must toe the line or seek a seat elsewhere. «He has been contributing £SO per annum.
