Bates summary and forecast:—The barometer rose everywhere on Saturday night ■with strong southerlv winds and cold and •Turnery weather. Jo-day has been fme except in the Auckland district. Present indications are for easterly winds, Btrong to gale, with squally and showery ■weather northward of Kawliia and East Cape, and for freshening ■northerly Winds elsewhere. A change is probable after eighteen Jiours, and increasing haze ®nd cloudiness in the meantime. In fhe south the barometer will fall fast everywhere soon.
