Wood, of Sydney, won the Individual Championship in 60min l'osec. Victoria and Tasmania also competed. FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT. R-eceivedi September 5, 12.30 a.m. Adelaide, September 4. A train collided with a trolley. The driver of the latter was killed and the train driver seriously injured. [The railway line runs from Port Adelaide to the city through busy streets. The line to Glenelg traverses King William street, the main thoroughfare of the ciiy.]

ANOTHER BOXING FATALITY. Received September 5. 12.30 a.m. Melbourne, September 4. A boxing contest took place at Ballart between Rogers, of Melbourne, and Copperwaite, a local man. In the nineteenth round Rogers was sent heavily to the floor, and was removed to the hospital, where he died without recovering consciousness.
