BIOGRAPH PICTURE "CO. The Biograph Picture Company will have a complete change of programme to-night, and there are some very fine films in the new list. The Ardells will appear again this evening, and this will be the last opportunity of witnessing their really •excellent performance. A matinee will be given this afternoon at 2.30. On Monday evening Mr. J. S. Stirton will appear at the Pictures, and will start on his endeavour to break the world's record for endurance piano-play-ing. Mr. Stirton is the ex-world's champion, and is determined to spare no effort to regain that honour. PIANO PLAYING RECORDS. JAMES SCHUBERT_ STIRTON, The world's champion endurance piano playing tests, which are causing great] interest in New Zealand, Australia, and America at the present moment, have now reached such a great length of time that only a few of the many hundreds who take the task .on ever get anywhere within the area of the limit. The record at the present time stands at 64 hours 35 minutes. The Press of late has had nothing but failures to report, which only gives a slight idea of the marvellous endurance which, it-entails. Mr. Stirton, the ex-world's champion, who has come to New Plymouth to endeavour to once more secure the coveted honour, is no novice, having established no less than four world's records, and he is the lucky possessor of three most appropriate and handsome gold medals. Mr. Stirton has completed a severe course of training. His trainers, Messrs. Bert Campion, who is also.one of New Zealand's' bicycle champions, and T. Munro, of Wanganui, have every confidence that, he will put up a good performance. These gentlemen will arrive on Monday, and be with Mr. Stirton right through His performance. A I strong committee of prominent local citizens is being formed'to authenticate the feat, and the Theatre will be open to the public dav and night. Great interest is being taken in the performance which is being run in conjunction with the Biograph Pictures.
