Cameron, produce expert in the office of the New Zealand High Commissioner, in an address to the Sanitary Inspectors' Assocaition, detailed the precautions taken to ensure the quality and eondition of New Zealand shipments of butter, meat and poultry. The distribution at Home was capable of considerable improvement, as the produce was often carted in uncovered vehicles to insanitary and ill-ventilated shops. The exporters also had a grievance that much of the New Zealand foodstuffs was sold as British.
