Arrangements have been rhade for Mr. Jorden to play all-comers at the Jubilee dining rooms on the three evenings above mentioned. Lovers of the game in Taranaki should take advantage of this exceptional opportunity of trying conclusions with the champion, who has just; finished his southern tour, in which he was wonderfully successful. He played nearly two thousand (games with all-comers, including the best players in the South Island, and only lost four games—a really wonderful performance, A small number of New Plymouth enthusiasts have formed themselves into a committee to carry out the arrangements for the visit. Mr. Jorden does not charge for the privilege of playing with him. In this connection he differs very materially from some of his predecessors. New Plymouth draught players are only asked to pay the expenses in connection with the visit, and contributions are being asked from players for this purpose. Any draught player who feels disposed to contribute- or who desires any further information in connection with the. champion's visit is asked to communicate with Mr. Bruce, care Honnor and Clarke, New Plymouth,
