I i It 'was decided to ask the various so- ' cieties to forward to the secretary of the conference records of all Court proceedings involving cases of cruelty to animals. Individual societies are to he requested to communicate with local bodies in their respective districts to make ' a provision prohibiting the practice of allowing; one person to be in charge of more than one vehicle at a time. Mr. ■G. Laurenson, M.P., is to be communicated with, suggesting that in any proposed legislation dealing with cruelty to animals, dehorning of cattle after the age of eighteen months should be prohibited.
