LONDON MARKETS. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright London, August 30. 'Share quotations unchanged, Wailii l:4-8s to IS Is 3d. LONDON DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET. Messrs E. Griffiths and Co., New Plymouth, are in receipt-of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs Mills and 'Sparrow, dated July 22: The weather has ibeen very changeable, and heavy showers have fallen all over the country.

Danish: Market continues steady, and the quotation is unchanged. Siberian: The quantity arrived tliis week is about the same as last, and there has been quite a fair demand, especially for the liest quality, which is in short supply. The proportion of secondary is now increasing considerably, and quite a quantity is only fit for confectionery purposes, so that the position of best qualities is certainly stronger, and it looks as if these will make higher prices in the near future. French: There is a fair demand for present consumption, but very little storing has been done so far this season. Buyers seem to think the level of prices too high. Australian and New Zealand: Sales are now few" and far between, as Continental butters command nearly the whole attention, ibut a few weeks' hence no doubt the supply will be- falling off somewhat, and we think clients will then be inclined to turn their attention towards colonial again. Cheese.—New Zealand: The quality of the s.s. Tonijariro's shipment was only fair, and these late-made goods do not compare favorably with the earlier shipment®. They have, however, met with a Igood demand, as the lower prices which cheese have been ruling at now for some time, have induced many retailers to push the article.

Canadian: There has been an improved demand this week, and prices show a hardening tendency.
