RIFLE CLUBS.

CHANGES IN ADMINISTRATION. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Wednesday. In reply to a deputation of members who waited on him yesterday in connection with the encouragement of rifle clubs, the* Premier said that the 120 rounds of free amnnition would be increased. When the Defence Act came into operation rifle clubs would be under the administration of the area officers, and members would have a full share of facilities which existed for military instruction. It was proposed to reduce the present cost of rifles from £3 15s down to £3 13s ill two instalments. Rifles lie s ? ld at than cost. Compulsory (lrill for rifle clubs would be abolished.
