EXODUS FROM BRITAIN. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright London, August 30. Sir John Taverner, Agent-General for Victoria, is receiving sixty applications of eligilble emigrants weekly. Mr. Thomas Sedgwick is appealing for £6OO to inaugurate an experiment in the emigration of town lads in accordance with the New Zealand promise to give assisted passages to fifty lads.
