THE RARAWA. The heavy gale experienced on Sunday had the effect of making the Manukau bar unworkable. The Rarawa was unable to get out owing to the rough sea, and her departure had to be postponed till yesterday afternoon and will arrive here this morning. She will return to Onehunga after the arrival of the mail train this evening. OTHER EXPERIENCES. The Petone, which left this port for Onehunga on Saturday afternoon, had a very rough time crossing the Manukau bar, but reached port safely. The Northern Company' steamer Waitangi, which has been anchored in the stream at Onehunga since her withdrawal from the Waitara run, dragged her anchors and was driven ashore°on the mole, where she bumped severely, but no damage was done. The Union Company's steamer Navua •arrived at Auckland at 9,30 on Sunday ecemng after a stormy passage from wsborne. No damage was done. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond, on her trip down to Wellington from New Plymouth on Saturday, was compelled to put into Picton for shelter.
