The-Vegetable Fibre and Wool Committee report that -large growers in Victoria, New Zealand and South Africa have responded, but there has been little response from New South Wales, South Australia and Westralia to the request to pack properly, though consumers show increasing preference where the clips are packed according to recommendations.

ENGLISH METHODS. Received Augusct 28, 5.5 p.m. London, August 28. The French Association of Spinners have inaugurated a conference at ißoubait in 1911 to consider the improved methods of the London warehouses for dealing with loose fibre.
