London, August 26.The Financial Times declares that the rise dn tin is due to the bulls catching the ibeaia, who relied on an increase in supplies'from the Straits Settlements. The rubber boom, however, caused many small prospectors to turn to rubber. Tinplate works are booked months ahead, and strong American demand continues.

Mr. Vivian Younger states that the tin "bears" are covering jheavily, but the East is marketing, large quantities daily, indicating full shipments for next month* Warrants are tightly held, and the market is somewhat unhealthy. The rise is presumably due to manipulation. Spot supplies are ample.
