SMUGGLING OPIUM
A HAUL IN SiYDNEY. IVv Canic. —Association. —Oopyrignt Received August 26, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, August 26. The Customs is displaying great vigilance in the perventing of smuggling of opium. To-day officials seized 424 tins of the value of over £SOO attached to the mooring line of the German steamer Colbenz in readiness for landing.
