I Details of the action the Governwealth is bringing against the alleged coal and shipping combine are published. The writ sets out the vend agreement, and claims that each and every one of the defendants has been guilty of an offence against the Anti-Trust Act, asks that they be convicted, -and for each and every one offence pay a penalty of £SOO, or such sum as the Court thinks proper; also that an injunction be issued restraining them from repeating or continuing such offences or carrying out the contract or contracts with any combination or combinations they have entered into.
UNION COMPANY INVOLVED. ' I Received August 27, 12;30 a.m. Melbourne, Last Night. The legal representative of the shipping companies states that he not only represents the companies mentioned in | the action already initiated against the Coal Vend shipping companies, but also ! the Union Company, against whom the Commonwealth will proceed if it is successful in its initial action.
