VICTORIAN DELEGATION'S SUCCESS. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright ■ London, August 23. The Victorian immigration delegation ha® completed its mission, which was highly successful in Scotland. It lhad a less sympathetic reception in Ireland, where official co-operation was denied, as the authorities did riot desire further emigratkm. It is expected that as the result of the British mission 300 families will have been secured', with from £IOO to £IOOO apiece, and 200 farm laborers and their families *with £2O and upwards apiece.
