•The body of Ivy Alice O'Brien, a beautiful gifl, twenty-one years of age, was found lying, in the sand hills at Randwick early this morning. There are no marks of violence, but the clothing was covered with blood.

, The affair is enshrouded in great mystery. There are no signs of a struggle,, but the girl's features show that death was of a violent nature. She left home yesterday to collect rents, and nothing more is known of her movements. Marks of a two-wheeled vehicle were discovered near where the body was found.

THE POLICE'S THEORY. Received August 24,12.45 a.m. Sydney, August 24, Miss O'Brien resided with her\parents, who are unable to throw any, light on the mystery.
