RECORD UJ MP WEIGHS 188LBS. By Telegraph.-Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. What is probably the larjgeßt piece of kauri gum yet brought to was unearthed by Mr. L. Carle a few days a<r o between Papakura and Ardtnore. The specimen, which was found some 14 feet below the surface of the ground, weighed 1881b*, and it irequired the strength of three men to haul it out of its resting place.
